Cardinals 6, Brewers 1

It was an exciting game. Due to a scheduling confict with High School girls on Thursday, the Cardinals vs. Brewers game was moved to Friday at Pioneer Park. Mitchell Reinthaler pitched a complete game for the Cardinals completing 6 full innings in 84 pitches. Lucas Kreger started on the mound for the Brewers pitching 3 1/3 innings. Newy Spencer and Trevor Young finished off the game.

Jordan Kaster (pictured right) for the Brewers started it off in the 1st inning with an in the park home run. It was the first of 3 for the game.

Dakota Stone stole home in the first to put the Cardinals on the board. In the second inning, Ben Gauthier walked and stole the round scoring the Cardinals second run. In the 3rd, Reinthaler jacked an in the park home run. Colton Volkman hammered another in the park homerun for the Cardinals in the 5th.

Reinthaler (pictured left) went 1 for 4 with a home run to go along with his pitching performance. Dakota Stone went 1 for 3 with a run scored, Ryan Dart went 2 for 2 and scored 2 runs, Cole Volkman went 1 for 2 with a homer and Eric Fabich went 2 for 3 with a run scored.

Dart holds the lead on the Cardinals team for highest batting average sitting at .750. Following closely in second place is Colton Volkman with a .625 average, in 3rd is Richard Klaver at .500 and in 4th is Eric Fabich sitting on .444.

My apologies to the other teams that I cannot be at all the games or don't know the stats to put in a report. If anyone would like to email me game stats, email them to krisjoemullikin@charter.net. I would be more than happy to write something up.
