     UNDATED - It was a quick exit for the Northwoods Babe Ruth All-Stars at the Wisconsin Babe Ruth State Tournment. Both the 13 and 15 year olds lost again on Thursday and were done in the double-elimination tournament.

Stevens Point got some revenge against Northwoods' 13-year olds on Thursday in Sauk City, beating the Stars 7-3. Northwoods defeated Point last Saturday for the District 4 title.

Meanwhile in Dodgeville, the 15-year olds were knocked out of the tournament by Mt. Horeb, losing 7-2.

The losses officially put an end to the 2009 Northwoods Babe Ruth League season. The league's 14-year olds failed to qualify for state, losing 2-1 to Shawano in the last-chance qualifier.
