RHINELANDER – The RHS Girls Basketball Team, and new head coach Anita Mattek announce that the team will hold a youth basketball camp from girls entering third through eight grades on Tuesday and Thursday mornings throughout the summer.
The camp begins on Tuesday, June 16 and will run through Thursday, August 13. Sessions will take place at the Central Elementary School Gymnasium with third through fifth graders on the floor from 9:00-10:30 AM and sixth through eight graders on the floor from 10:30 AM-Noon.
Items covered at the camp will include offensive moves, defensive techniques, ball handling, shooting from, one-on-one moves, screen and rolls, rebounds, passing skills, pivots and more.
The cost for the camp is $50 for one camper. A second camper from the same family will receive a $10 discount. The fee for the camp will be waved for those on reduced or free lunch.
