Nate Lemmens named new boys' basketball coach at Wausau West

Rhinelander High School alum Nate Lemmens has been tabbed the new head coach of the Wausau West High School boys' basketball team.
Several sources told the River News of the hiring, which was confirmed by the Wausau Daily Herald Tuesday.
Lemmens, the younger brother of RHS boys' basketball coach Derek Lemmens, spent the last three seasons as an assistant at Milwaukee Hamilton High School.
Asked if Wausau West and Rhinelander could meet next season in a sibling coaching rivalry, Derek Lemmens said "yes" in a text message to the River News.
Nate Lemmens will teach special education at Wausau West, the Daily Herald reported.
